Jobs at St Stephen's Redditch

We are the church in the centre of Redditch and currently stepping into a season of renewal and praying for revival in our day.

St Stephen's has been commissioned as a 'renewal church' within the Diocese of Worcester. We have received finances from the Church Commissioners of the Church of England to enable the vision to become a reality. We are about to undertake a significant building reordering project, employ a team of key ministry leaders, and a new pioneer minister started in role during the autumn of 2024.

We seek to be a thriving community of missionary disciples, empowered by the Holy Spirit to worship God passionately, follow Jesus faithfully, love one another radically, and share hope courageously, in Redditch and to the ends of the earth.

1. We are ANGLICAN and we are committed to the historic, apostolic faith we have inherited as part of the Diocese of Worcester and the global Anglican communion.
2. We are CHARISMATIC meaning we believe the work and gifts of the Holy Spirit are at the forefront of the church’s life and mission in every season.
3. We are EVANGELICAL meaning we place particular emphasis upon the authority of the bible, the saving work of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection, personal conversion and life long sanctification, and the active momentum of the gospel beyond the church community.
